Winston Domino’s Donates Over $1,000 to Support the Winston–Dillard Food Bank
Domino’s in Winston raised over $1,000 and collected canned goods for the Winston–Dillard Food Bank during a community meet-the-owner event, where new franchise owner Angelique Martinez thanked locals for their generosity and support.
Winston, Ore. — The Winston Domino’s team wrapped up their meet-the-owner night on Monday with a major show of community support, raising more than $1,000 for the Winston–Dillard Food Bank and collecting dozens of canned goods from customers who stopped by throughout the evening.
From 5 to 8 p.m., the store pledged half of all sales toward the food bank, turning a regular Monday night into a successful fundraiser. The event was led by new franchise owner Angelique Martinez, who said the overwhelming community response meant more than she ever expected.
Martinez said the strong turnout showed how supportive the community is, and that her team appreciated meeting so many local families during the event. She emphasized that giving back is important to her store and that they want to be a positive presence in the Winston–Dillard area.
According to Domino’s, Martinez has worked with the company for several years and recently reached a major milestone by becoming the new owner of the Winston location. The store said she is focused on community involvement and looks forward to building connections through future events and outreach.
In addition to fundraising, the event also featured a community raffle. According to Domino’s, the winners included:
- $10 Gift Card: Thomas
- $25 Gift Card: Teressa
- $100 Prize: Cameron
- Free Pizza for a Year: Nick
Domino’s staff said they were “unbelievably grateful” for everyone who participated, adding that more than 20 canned food items were collected during the event.

“Thank you so much for your support,” the store said in a post. “Changing the world one pizza at a time!”
