- Road Conditions:
- All roads in Douglas County are clear, except for Highway 138E at milepost 83-93 (7 miles east of the Diamond Lake intersection).
- Delays: 20 minutes to 2 hours due to winter conditions.
- Requirements: Chains are required. Traction tires are allowed in place of chains for vehicles under 10,000 GVW. Vehicles towing must use chains.
- Advice: Prepare to slow down and expect delays.
- School Closures:
- All Glendale schools are closed today due to weather conditions.
Outside Douglas County
- Interstate 5:
- Delays: 20 minutes to 2 hours from milepost 0-11 in both directions due to ice and snow.
- Requirements: Chains are required on all vehicles, excluding four-wheel drive vehicles unless towing. Traction tires alone are not sufficient.
- Advice: Prepare for winter conditions, slow down, and expect delays.
- Highway Closures:
- Hwy 273: Closed from milepost 0-12. Open to local traffic only.
- Hwy 66: Closed from milepost 6.5 to 50.6. Open to local traffic only.
- Dead Indian Memorial Road: Closed to all traffic except local traffic. NO semi-truck traffic is allowed. This road is NOT a bypass route when Highway 140 or Highway 66 are closed.
