Detectives with the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) have concluded a weeks-long investigation into alleged cocaine trafficking, resulting in the arrest of a Tri-City woman on Wednesday.

DINT Commander Lieutenant Rick McArthur stated that detectives gathered evidence implicating 35-year-old Joanna Johnson in multiple suspected cocaine sales. On Wednesday at approximately 2:35 p.m., detectives, with support from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Myrtle Creek Police, executed a search warrant at Johnson’s residence on Old Pacific Highway in the Myrtle Creek/Tri-City area.

During the search, investigators reportedly discovered around an ounce of suspected cocaine, 477 doses of Alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax), a small amount of suspected DMT, and an AK-47-style rifle.

Johnson was arrested and faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession, manufacture, and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, along with unlawful possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance. She is being held without bail.
