Brew Change for CASA to Raise Funds for Local Children in Douglas County

A community fundraiser supporting children in foster care is coming to Roseburg next week as CASA of Douglas County partners with Two Shy Brewing for a special Brew Change for CASA event.

The fundraiser will take place on February 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Two Shy Brewing, located at 1308 NW Park Street in Roseburg. The evening will feature designated benefit brews, a raffle, and opportunities for community members to learn more about CASA’s work advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

During the event, patrons can order from three selected Benefit Brews, with 50 percent of proceeds from those beverages donated directly to CASA of Douglas County. The benefit beer lineup includes:

  • Skinny Summer Tangerine Peach Hefeweizen
  • Worth The Wait IPA
  • Reformation Red (Irish Red)

In addition to enjoying locally crafted beverages, attendees can participate in a raffle and connect with CASA volunteers and staff, who will be on-site to share information about becoming an advocate and supporting children in foster care.

CASA of Douglas County trains volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates, giving children in the foster system a consistent voice and support through complex legal and personal challenges. Organizers say community events like Brew Change for CASA help raise both funds and awareness for the program’s mission.

Community members are encouraged to stop by, learn more about CASA’s impact, and enjoy an evening out while supporting local children in need.
