Details: Officers contacted Jesse at the listed address after a report of a dispute over a civil matter. Officers knew Jesse's driving status was suspended at the misdemeanor level and it was confirmed this was still current. Witnesses advised they saw Jesse drive and Jesse admitted to driving. Jesse was cited and released without incident and a valid driver retrieved his vehicle (2002 tan Volkswagen Passat).

Non-Injury Traffic Crash

Two-vehicle crash reported at SE Stephens St & SE Douglas Ave; Geary Bruce Liebe, 53, cited on multiple violations after officers reported he rear-ended a stopped vehicle

Details: Officers responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash in the listed intersection. D1 stated they were following D2 when one of his rear passengers screamed. D1 attempted to slam on the brakes but did not have enough time and crashed into D2. D2 said the traffic light turned yellow and came to a stop. When D2 came to a stop D1 crashed into his vehicle. V1 (Black 2004 Toyota Tundra) sustained minor damage but V2 (Grey 2015 BMW 328) sustained substantial damage. Both vehicles were able to be driven away. Seatbelt use: yes. Intoxicants: no.
Disposition: D1 was cited for the listed violations, and a valid driver took possession of V1.
