Police Log: February 5, 2026
Roseburg police reported multiple arrests and citations Feb. 5–6, including theft cases, warrant and parole violation arrests, disorderly conduct, prohibited weapons in parks, and two DUII citations following traffic stops, according to the department’s daily activity logs.

Bradly Slaton Carter, 22, arrested at Walmart; officers reported he returned after being previously trespassed and resisted while being taken into custody

Ronald Truel Hiner, 44, cited at Stewart Park disc golf course; officers reported a spade shovel and machete in his camp during posting

Details: Hiner was contacted in his camp below the Disc Golf Course during the camp posting process. Hiner was in possession of a spade shovel and a machete, which are both prohibited items within the parks.

Gerold James Hampton, 45, arrested near SE Mosher & SE Pine; officers reported a confirmed warrant and suspected methamphetamine located during the incident

Details: Officers contacted Hampton and found he had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and he was taken into custody. During the incident officers located suspected methamphetamine in Hampton’s possession.

Eric Allen Beardslee, 59, arrested at Grocery Outlet; officers reported he opened packages in-store and placed items into his pockets

Details: Officers contacted Beardslee at the above location after he had reportedly opened several packages inside the store and placed them into his pockets. Beardslee admitted to taking the items and he was taken into custody without incident. The items were returned to the business.

Kenny Allen Edwards, 48, arrested after a liquor theft investigation; officers reported he admitted stealing a $60 bottle of tequila from Umpqua Valley Liquor

Jerimey Houston Williams, 52, arrested at Mountain Mike’s Pizza; officers reported multiple callers said he tried to fight people and threw punches

Details: Officers responded to the listed location after several callers reported a male was trying to fight several people in the parking lot. Officer learned that Williams tried to start several fights and threw several punches at another male. Williams was taken into custody without incident.
