Jacob Lloyd Herrmann, 34, arrested after officers reported contacting him at a bike-path camp and confirming multiple warrants

Details: Officers contacted Herrmann at his camp along the bike path. Officers discovered Herrmann had the above-mentioned warrants for his arrest. The warrants were confirmed and Herrmann was taken into custody without incident. Herrmann was transported to Douglas County Corrections where he was booked and lodged. Herrmanns camp was left with a friend per his request.
Disposition: Herrmann was booked and lodged at Corrections.

Thomas Joseph Bunch, 23, cited after officers reported a single-vehicle rollover during an attempted “burnout” at a stop sign

Details: Officers responded to a single vehicle crash at the intersection of NW Renann Ave and NW Edenbower Blvd. After an investigation, officers reported Bunch accelerated quickly through a stop sign in an attempt to “burnout,” lost control, struck the curb, and flipped the vehicle onto its side. Bunch was cited and released on scene. A friend picked up the truck.

Steven Lee Snedegar, 74, arrested on arson and reckless-endangering charges after an investigation into a January incident at an apartment

Details: Officers and Roseburg Fire responded on Jan. 19, 2026, to a residence regarding a possible natural gas leak. Fire personnel entered Snedegars apartment and found him inside. Police reported Snedegar was transported to Mercy for an evaluation and made statements that he was trying to blow up the apartment because he was mad at his landlord. The Fire Marshal investigated and noted fire damage behind the range and that the gas line had been removed from the range. Snedegar was contacted on Jan. 29 and taken into custody.
Disposition: Snedegar was lodged at Corrections.

Details: Officers reported they witnessed Lara damage a 2012 Mazda Speed 3. Police reported the damage included chips in the driver window and a significant scratch on the passenger rear door. The owner was contacted and confirmed the damage was new. Lara was taken into custody.

Details: Officers contacted Adam who was camping underneath multiple blankets on the sidewalk near Subway. Police reported he also had a large wagon of items and other belongings scattered around the sidewalk, and that he had been warned a few days earlier about camping nearby.
