Sunday hit 100°F in Roseburg, making it the hottest day of 2025 so far and breaking the June 8th record of 99°F set in 2015. Monday could bring another record, with a forecasted high of 98°F, surpassing the previous June 9th record of 94°F.

ROSEBURG, Ore. — Roseburg experienced its hottest day of the year so far on Sunday, with temperatures reaching triple digits and setting a new daily record.
According to the National Weather Service in Medford, the high at the Roseburg Regional Airport hit 100 degrees on June 8th. That mark broke the previous record for the date - 99 degrees, set in 2015 - and surpassed Saturday’s high of 97 degrees, which had been the warmest of the year up to that point.
Forecasters said the current heat trend may continue into the new week, with another record potentially falling on Monday. The forecasted high for June 9th is 98 degrees, which would top the previous daily record of 94 degrees, also set in 2015.
Officials are urging residents to take precautions during the extreme heat, including staying hydrated, avoiding strenuous outdoor activity during peak hours, and checking on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
More heat is expected through midweek before a gradual cooling trend later in the week.
