Workman Community Market Announces April 4 Opening Day for 2026 Season
Workman Community Market opens its 2026 season April 4 in Green with a family friendly celebration alongside the grand opening of Workman’s Bar and Smokehouse. The market will feature local vendors and weekly nonprofit spotlights throughout the season.
GREEN, Ore. — The Workman Community Market will kick off its 2026 season on Saturday, April 4, with a community-focused opening day celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4550 Highway 99 South in Green.
This year’s opening day will coincide with the grand opening of Workman’s Bar and Smokehouse as a family-friendly venue, marking the first time the business will welcome guests of all ages. The shared opening is designed to create a one-stop destination for families to enjoy food, shopping, and time together in a relaxed, community-centered setting.
The Workman Community Market will once again feature a wide range of local vendors, artisans, and small businesses offering handcrafted goods, specialty items, and popular market favorites. Organizers say the collaboration with Workman’s Bar and Smokehouse reflects a shared commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports both local entrepreneurs and families.
In addition to showcasing local makers, the market will continue its weekly nonprofit sponsorship program throughout the season. Each week, a different nonprofit organization will be highlighted to help raise awareness and support causes that benefit the local community.
“This opening day is about more than shopping,” said Cindy Marler, market administrator. “It’s about bringing families, friends, and neighbors together while supporting local businesses and nonprofits.”
Community members of all ages are invited to attend the April 4 opening and help celebrate the start of the 2026 market season.
