U.S. Bank to Close Drain Branch in January 2026
U.S. Bank will close its Drain branch on January 15, 2026. Officials say the move reflects a shift toward digital banking, with no disruption to customer accounts. The nearest branch will be in Cottage Grove. U.S. Bank also plans to close its Mill City branch days earlier on January 12.
Roseburg School Board Prioritizes Funding for Locker Room Privacy Upgrades
The Roseburg School Board has approved up to $95,000 to add private changing and shower areas to Roseburg High School’s locker rooms. The upgrades aim to improve student comfort and privacy, with plans for individual stalls and enclosed spaces funded through the district’s 404 infrastructure fund.
