Fatal Crash on Highway 138E Claims Life of Roseburg Man
A single-vehicle crash on Highway 138E late Thursday night claimed the life of 30-year-old Domonik Randsome Wright of Roseburg. His Chrysler 200 left the roadway, went airborne, rolled into a field, and caught fire. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. - A Roseburg man was killed late Thursday night after a single-vehicle crash along Highway 138E near milepost 12.
According to the Oregon State Police, the crash occurred on December 4 at 11:13 p.m. when an eastbound Chrysler 200, driven by 30-year-old Domonik Randsome Wright, left the roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle went airborne, landed in a nearby field, rolled, and became fully engulfed in flames.
Wright, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
OSP noted that the highway remained open during the response and on-scene investigation.
The Glide Volunteer Fire Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted Oregon State Police.
