Fire Damages Manufactured Home on Brosi Orchard Road in Winston
Fire crews quickly knocked down a blaze that damaged a manufactured home off Brosi Orchard Road in Winston Tuesday evening. All occupants and their dog escaped safely. No injuries were reported, but the cause of the fire remains undetermined due to extensive damage.
WINSTON, Ore. — Central Douglas Fire & Rescue crews responded to a structure fire Tuesday evening at a manufactured home off Brosi Orchard Road in Winston.
The call came in at 6:09 p.m. after the resident returned home and discovered flames as she came up the driveway, prompting a 911 call.
Firefighters arrived to find a working fire, initiated an attack, and established command. Crews achieved a quick knockdown, while a second engine performed a primary search. All occupants and their dog were already outside when firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported among residents or fire personnel.
Central Douglas Fire & Rescue responded with three fire engines and one command unit, totaling 12 paid and volunteer firefighters. Lookingglass Rural Fire Department assisted with one engine, and PP&L also provided support.
Due to extensive fire damage, investigators were unable to determine the cause of the blaze.
