MISSING GREEN WOMAN, LORI SHARMAN, FOUND DECEASED
Lori Sharman, the missing woman from Green, was found deceased Thursday morning by Douglas County Search and Rescue. Deputies confirmed her death, and no foul play is suspected. Authorities extend their condolences to her family.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has announced that 59-year-old Lori Sharman, who was reported missing from the Green area, has been located deceased.
According to officials, Douglas County Search and Rescue members discovered Sharman on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at approximately 11:20 a.m. during a follow-up search effort. Deputies responded to the area, confirmed her death, and notified her next of kin.
The Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating, though authorities report there are no indications of foul play at this time.
In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office thanked the many volunteers, first responders, and community members who assisted in the search, adding that the men and women of the agency “extend their deepest sympathies to Lori’s family.”
