Article by KQEN News Radio

A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect through 12:00 p.m. Tuesday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said visibility of one quarter of a mile or less in dense fog is expected.

Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Article by KQEN News Radio

An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. within the valleys of Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said poor air quality will continue. This is due to an inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface that will continue to trap pollutants.

Poor air quality may cause issues for people with respiratory problems. Those with respiratory illness should follow their physician’s advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air.

Drivers should slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of their vehicle.
