Roseburg Woman Killed, Driver Injured In Garden Valley Road Head-On Crash

Kaylie Ann York, 23, passed away when her 2015 Mazda 6 crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2019 Toyota Tacoma head-on on Garden Valley Rd near Ridgewood Dr on Aug. 8, 2025. The Tacoma driver, Frank Edward Pollak, 66, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A California man was killed early Thursday when his bicycle was struck by a pickup on I-5 near Sutherlin. The crash closed the highway for about four hours. The driver had minor injuries, while a passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to Oregon State Police.
