ROSEBURG, Ore. - Monday, August 11, 2025, was the hottest day of the year so far in Roseburg, with the temperature reaching 105°F at Roseburg Regional Airport, according to the National Weather Service in Medford. That reading breaks the previous August 11 record of 104°F set in 2014.
Forecasters expect Tuesday, August 12 to be the final triple-digit day in the current stretch, with a high near 100°F. It is not expected to top the August 12 record of 106°F set in 1935.
A gradual cooldown begins Wednesday, with temperatures trending back to near normal by Thursday, forecasters said. Residents are encouraged to continue heat safety practices until the cooldown arrives.
