Roseburg Man Arrested for Felony Strangulation
A 50-year-old Roseburg man, Royce Morgan, was arrested Sunday for felony strangulation, assault, and menacing after allegedly choking a woman and threatening to kill her. He is being held without bail at Douglas County Corrections.
ROSEBURG, Ore. – A 50-year-old Roseburg man was arrested Sunday evening on multiple charges, including felony strangulation.
According to Roseburg Police, Royce Morgan allegedly choked a woman, causing injuries to her throat and neck. Investigators said Morgan also threatened to kill the woman, telling her she would die and that he would “leave her body in the river.”
Morgan was booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges of felony strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and menacing. He is being held without bail at Douglas County Corrections.
