Roseburg Receiver to Launch Continuous YouTube Livestream Starting June 1
The Roseburg Receiver will launch a continuous YouTube livestream starting June 1, replacing the current 12-hour feed format. This change aims to reduce confusion and provide a single, reliable link for listeners. All audio will still be archived on other platforms.

ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Roseburg Receiver is making a major upgrade to its live broadcast experience. Beginning June 1, the platform’s YouTube stream will shift to a single, uninterrupted livestream, replacing the current system that creates a new live video every 12 hours.
This change comes in response to viewer feedback. Many users have found the segmented stream format confusing and inconvenient, often struggling to locate the most current feed. With the new setup, The Roseburg Receiver will offer a single, consistent link—making it easier than ever to tune in at any time.
While the livestream itself will no longer be archived on YouTube, all radio traffic will continue to be recorded and made available on other platforms. Listeners can still access past transmissions on OpenMHz.com, Broadcastify, and soon, a dedicated new platform that will offer all daily scanner transmissions in one place.
This streamlined system is designed to improve the listener experience while reducing unnecessary data duplication. As always, The Roseburg Receiver remains committed to providing timely, reliable emergency communication to the Douglas County community and beyond.
