Roseburg Warming Center Activated Saturday Night With Delayed Opening After 7 PM
The Roseburg Warming Center will be activated Saturday night, Jan. 24, with delayed check-in after 7 p.m. and overnight hours from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Space is first-come, first-served at St. Joseph’s Gymnasium in Roseburg.
The Roseburg Warming Center will be activated Saturday night, January 24, 2026, with an overnight stay available for guests through Sunday night, and check-out Monday morning, January 25, 2026.
Community members are encouraged to share the information to help ensure those who need shelter from the cold are aware of the activation.
Operating Details (Delayed Opening)
Check-in begins after 7:00 PM Saturday night. A warm meal will be served during check-in.
The warming center will be open for overnight guests from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM. No entry or re-entry is allowed after 9:00 PM.
Morning Check-Out
Overnight guests may check out from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM. During this time, coffee, tea, and a light breakfast snack will be available.
The warming center will close daily at 8:00 AM and will reopen if activated again the following night.
Additional Information for Guests
- Space availability: First-come, first-served
- Transportation: Accessible via UPTD Greenline and Redline, with the nearest bus stop on Harvard Avenue between Stanton and Stewart Parkway
- Storage: Limited secure baggage storage is available; guests may bring a small toiletry bag inside
- Pets: Pets are allowed but must be crated. A limited number of crates are available. Guests are responsible for pet care and potty breaks
- Parking: Parking is available in St. Joseph’s lot outside the gym, but sleeping in vehicles is not permitted
