GAWSA is seeking help identifying individuals caught taking items from a government dumpster. While it may seem like simple dumpster diving, it’s illegal - trespassing and theft of government property. The act poses safety risks and violates public infrastructure protocols.

A Roseburg man was arrested after admitting to stealing and selling items from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rad Cameron Osburn, 25, was already in custody for a separate case when police linked him to the burglary. He's charged with burglary, theft, and violating a restraining order.

Douglas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Daniel Roy Phelps and Terah Danyle Crawford in a child exploitation and animal abuse probe. Warrants uncovered explicit materials involving two minors and a bestiality video. Charges include sodomy, sexual abuse, and related offenses.

Former Douglas County corrections deputy Jeremiah Heredia faces assault and misconduct charges after allegedly striking an inmate in an isolation cell. The inmate, who reportedly flicked toilet water at Heredia, is also charged with aggravated harassment.

A teen was stabbed during a fight at Stewart Park on June 17. Roseburg Police say a 15-year-old allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old, who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
