Missing child Dane Paulsen, who vanished on March 1, was found deceased in the Siletz River, three miles downstream from his family's property. Authorities and volunteers conducted an extensive search before the discovery. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office asks for privacy as the family grieves.

"One person died in a structure fire in Winston on Tuesday morning. Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames in the living room. The victim, a guest staying at the home, was found inside and removed. The fire was contained, but the home suffered damage. The cause remains under investigation
