Teen Stabbing at Stewart Park Under Investigation

ROSEBURG, Ore. — A fight between two teenagers at Stewart Park on Tuesday has led to a stabbing and a police investigation.
Roseburg Police and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene on June 17, 2025, after a verbal dispute among a group of teens escalated into violence. Authorities say a 15-year-old male allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old male multiple times during the altercation.
The 17-year-old was transported to Mercy Medical Center by Umpqua Valley Ambulance with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Center. Law enforcement officials say the investigation remains active, and no further details have been released.
