Tubing Canceled This Weekend at Diamond Lake Resort Due to Low Snow Levels
Tubing at Diamond Lake Resort is canceled this weekend due to low snow levels. Only about 5 inches of snow has fallen, and at least 2 feet is needed for safe tubing. Visitors may still bring their own sleds and enjoy the snow for free.
Tubing at Diamond Lake Resort has been canceled for this weekend due to insufficient snow accumulation.
At this time, the area has received approximately five inches of snow, which is not enough to safely open the tubing hill. Resort officials say at least two feet of snow is needed to operate tubing safely.
While tubing will not be available, visitors are still welcome to come up and enjoy the snow that is currently on the ground. Guests may bring and use their own sleds at no charge, provided conditions remain safe.
Resort staff will continue monitoring weather conditions and will provide updates if additional snowfall allows tubing operations to resume.
