Two Arrested Following Separate Major Drug Busts by DINT
DINT arrested two suspects in separate drug busts, seizing over 1,900 grams of meth, cocaine, mushrooms, and pills in Myrtle Creek and Sutherlin. Both face multiple charges. The investigations targeted large-scale meth distribution in Douglas County.

The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) has concluded two separate long-term investigations into methamphetamine distribution, resulting in two significant arrests this past week in Douglas County.
June 6 Arrest – Myrtle Creek
On Friday, June 6th, at approximately 3:30 p.m., DINT detectives arrested 44-year-old Frederick Beau Hanson of Myrtle Creek. The arrest took place following a traffic stop conducted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Interstate 5 near Exit 110 (Boomer Hill). DCSO’s drug detection canine, Trapper, was also deployed during the stop.
A search of Hanson and his vehicle revealed approximately 55.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Detectives then executed a search warrant at Hanson’s residence in Myrtle Creek, uncovering an additional 821 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 0.8 grams of suspected cocaine, 71.6 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and other evidence related to drug distribution.
Hanson was booked into the Douglas County Jail on multiple charges, including:
- Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine
- Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine
- Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance
- Unlawful Possession of Cocaine
- Unlawful Delivery or Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Commercial or Substantial Quantities)
- Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon
June 10 Arrest – Sutherlin
Just a few days later, on Tuesday, June 10th at approximately 6:40 p.m., DINT detectives arrested 64-year-old Sharon Mae Aguilar of Curtin. Detectives had been conducting surveillance on Aguilar before stopping her in the 300 block of Dakota Street in Sutherlin.
A search of her vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 1,039 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 5.3 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, along with suspected oxycodone and hydrocodone pills.
Aguilar was also lodged at the Douglas County Jail, facing charges that include:
- Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine
- Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine
- Unlawful Manufacture or Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance
- Unlawful Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Unlawful Possession of Oxycodone
- Unlawful Possession of Hydrocodone
