Umpqua Valley Tennis Center Nears Completion of Outdoor Court Renovation
The Umpqua Valley Tennis Center is entering the final phase of its outdoor renovation, with the upgraded courts taking shape and reopening expected in December. Staff say the project is coming together quickly and they’re excited to welcome the community back soon.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Umpqua Valley Tennis Center is nearing the end of its major outdoor renovation project, with the newly updated courts now taking shape and drawing excitement from the community.
Staff say the progress has accelerated in recent weeks, and many of the key upgrades are already in place. The renewed space is looking better each day as the project heads into its final stretch.
The center is planning to reopen in December, though an exact date has not yet been finalized.

The updates will serve both tennis and pickleball players, offering an improved experience for athletes across the region once the doors officially reopen.
