BANDON, Ore. — The owner of the West Coast Game Park has been arrested on multiple drug-related charges, marking the latest development in a growing investigation into the controversial wildlife facility where more than 300 animals were recently seized and rehomed.

According to Public Information Officer Christopher Gill of the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest followed a major multi-agency operation on May 15th. Members of the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team (SCINT), alongside the Oregon State Police, Oregon Humane Society, Oregon Department of Agriculture, Internal Revenue Service, and the Oregon Department of Justice, executed multiple search warrants tied to the case.

During the searches, investigators reportedly discovered approximately 80 grams of methamphetamine. This led to a second search warrant focused on drug-related evidence at the game park property.

Authorities recovered 44 firearms—one of which had been modified into a machine gun—roughly 8 grams of cocaine, and approximately $1.6 million in cash, bonds, cashier’s checks, and certificates.

On the morning of Tuesday, May 27th, Bandon Police arrested 52-year-old Brian Tenney in connection with the investigation. He was taken into custody based on a probable cause warrant issued by the Coos County Sheriff’s Office and is facing charges related to possession, manufacturing, and attempted distribution of methamphetamine.

The investigation remains ongoing.
